Since April 2025, all travellers from countries that previously enjoyed visa-free entry must complete a Namibia visa application form before visiting. Tip: Visa on Arrival is only available at a smaller subset of these entry points (mainly international airports and major border posts). If you are arriving at a smaller border post, apply for the eVisa online in advance.

Common Mistakes That Cause Rejections

Based on traveller reports and official guidance, these are the most frequent errors on the Namibia visa application form:

1. Passport validity less than 6 months – Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date AND have at least 3 blank pages.
2. Name mismatch – The name on the form must match your passport exactly. Include all middle names and surnames.
3. Blurry document uploads – Passport scans and photos must be clear and legible. Rejected applications are often due to poor image quality.

• Address in Namibia

Can I edit my application after submitting it?

You will receive an email explaining the reason for rejection. You can correct the issue and reapply. The original fee is non-refundable.

Do I need to print my eVisa?
